Cemented Construction

It is the most common industrial method, where all the upper parts are glued to the midsole with glue.

Very developed industrial adhesives that create an extremely strong fixation. No visible stichs.

California Construction

Very used in casual footwear, it is a precise method, due to the fact that the upper and insole are sewn before being lasting, without the need for a assenbly margin.

Generally with a wedge cover all around that in the assembly process will be essential as a mounting margin, to be cemented and give it a resistant finish.

Strobel Construction

Generally more used in sports shoes, it is a precise method in which the upper and lining are both sewn to the midsole or sole. That is, the upper and the bottom are precisely extracted without requiring margin of assembly.

We can see the strobel stitch normally if we remove the finishing insole.

Blake-Stitched Construction

This process consists of stitched to the insole, the leather and the sole in a single stitch attaches everything toghether on specific machines, with the last removed.

It is a simple and fast process and it is not water-resistant.

Construction Stitch and Turn

The stitch and turn process involves stitched the inside out and then turned to hide. That is, the leather and lining are sewn inside out and then turned over to hide the shoe's internal stitchs. Sewing is always started in front of the shoe.

Subsequently, the soles are glued to ensure the durability of the shoes.

Mocassin Construction

Defined by a particularity, it must be made from a rolled-up construction, that is, a U-shaped leather piece at the top of the foot forms a single layer, the insole and upper, the ends of which are sewn to the flap (apron).

Construction Sachet

This technique involves joining the lining with the finishing insole through a stitching, creating a "sock". After introducing the last, the process is completed by the most used method of constrution cemented, in which the upper is attached to the insole and subsequently to the sole.

However it requires a particularity, in the bottom of the finishing insole a soft foam is placed that will give a greater sensation of comfort.
